The tenancy for this 27,000 sq ft retail warehouse was important because of several issues.

We were able to house several consignments of Landfill destined furniture.

Because of the type of unit we showcased in more detail the work the Community Interest Companies do in repairing and sourcing new local placements for the furniture.

Actual Benefits of this Occupation

• 17 tonne of Furniture diverted from Landfill for reuse.
• The repair and recycling of the furniture was highlighted in window space showcasing the work the CIC’s carry out.
• The Landlord was entitled to a significant reduction in his Rates liability whilst making a positive impact upon Landfill usage.
